Masonry scam reported in SD&G area; police asking other victims to come forward

SD&G — After receiving multiple complaints about a local business owner allegedly defrauding residents of the SD&G area, police are asking for information from other possible victims.

The complaints were in relation to deposits made for masonry construction at homes that were never built or started and not completed. Several other victims came forward following the initial call. The SD&G OPP are asking the public to contact them if they have a similar complaint about a local masonry company.
