North Dundas Rockets set to bring back annual Kids’ Hockey Camp, Sept. 24-Oct. 2

CHESTERVILLE — Plenty of big-name instructors are lined up as the North Dundas Rockets bring back their annual Kids’ Hockey Camp early this fall.

Aimed at minor hockey players from U7 up to U15, the camp runs Sept. 24 to Oct. 2 in Chesterville. Senior and junior Rockets personnel will help instruct as will ex-pro hockey players “so the instruction will be excellent,” says the team’s Rob Sadler.

Organizers are currently limited to 50 percent capacity, equivalent to 25 spots per age group. COVID protocols as they exist at the time will be enforced, but the camp is “100 percent a go and there will be a lot of fun for those participating,” he says.

“We’re expecting a fairly normal camp as well as a fairly normal start of the season!”

Registration is on a first come, first served basis. Contact Dayna Young at dwhy37@gmail.com or call 613-612-3481.
