School full of Spirit!

Welcome to November! October flew by, and we suddenly were in a week filled with Halloween-themed spirit days and lots of ND school spirit, of course.

For Halloween, as mentioned in last week’s report, North Dundas Student Council planned a week full of spirit days that students could participate in to have a little bit of fun leading up to Halloween. All I can say is, wow, our students and staff are the best! The best day was Friday, costume day, when we had some awesome costumes donned by many. Some teacher highlights were: Mrs. Fife as a crazy cat lady handing out candy out of a litter box, the 4 queens – Mrs. McDonell, Mrs. Hall, Mrs. Williams, and Mrs. Durant, and the clown, Mr. Groves. It was an extremely successful and fun week!

Our senior and junior boys’ volleyball teams have their first game on Thursday. We wish you luck!

Lastly, as we enter our last full week of the first quadmester, student council would like to share some study tips: manage your time and prioritize what you need to get done; listen to calming music; study in intervals and take breaks; study with friends, and always ask for help when you need it!
