No new COVID-19 cases reported on Victoria Day in the EOHU and no more outbreaks ongoing, reports Medical Officer of Health Roumeliotis

EASTERN ONTARIO — In his twice-weekly media briefing on May 25th, Eastern Ontario Medical Officer of Health Dr. Paul Roumeliotis provided updates on the latest COVID-19 developments in the region, reporting that there have been 13 new cases since Friday, May 21st. 10 were in Prescott-Russell and three were in Cornwall. Crucially, on Victoria Day, the EOHU recorded no new cases of the virus within its jurisdiction. Roumeliotis pointed out that it has been months since the Health Unit has seen such results.
